Get in Touch

This is a private reference site, not a Philadelphia government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange a release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. Direct those requests to the government custodian below.

Philadelphia Record Contacts

Choose the office by the record needed. The Sheriff's Office is not the PDP jail custodian, so a PDP booking-photo request should identify PDP or the arresting agency rather than assume that the Sheriff holds it.

  • Use the home page for the PDP locator, focused record requests, and custody-state alternatives.
  • Use the Most Wanted page for public wanted-notice and safe warrant-resolution information.
  • Use PA DOC's locator for state-sentenced or parolee status, not local PDP custody.
  • Use the BOP locator or ICE locator only when the person is in that custody system.

For an emergency or immediate safety threat, use 911 rather than a records office. A written RTKL request must be non-anonymous, sufficiently specific, and sent to the correct Open Records Officer. Philadelphia's usual statutory response framework begins at five business days, subject to lawful extensions.
